What is a Seiko Tortuga?
The Seiko Tortuga watch is another iconic Seiko automatic diving watch that goes hand in hand with the popular Seiko 5 Sports, Seiko SKX00, Seiko Samurai and Seiko Sumo.
In 1965, Seiko 6105 or also known as Seiko Apocalypse Now was launched. It was a diver with a very tight hermeticity of 150 meters. As reflected in the Coppola movie, it was selected by several soldiers to go to Vietnam.
Eleven years later, in 1960, the next turtle, the Seiko 6309, came out. Until 1988, this watch has been produced for more than 12 years.
